We are looking for an energetic, caring and patient person to join 17 year old A’s small team of personal assistants based in Eastbourne. Your own transport would be great but it is not essential, however willingness to use the bus would be helpful. A can be cheeky, but emotional and needs to build a strong relationship with his carers.

We are flexible with hours, Saturday’s 10-2 are what we are looking for, or after school 3-5 . But as I say we are flexible. We are quite happy for A to go out, he likes bus rides and going for walks or have some one to one time at home doing activities.

Duties include:
- Eating and drinking assistance
- Other relevant duties as required
- Companionship
- Changing of pads
- Supervision and help with eating

Candidate qualities:
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience of communicating with someone who is non verbal

Notes:
