Mires Beck Nursery is seeking Relief Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities in a nurturing horticultural setting. This is a casual hours position, ideal for those seeking flexible work to fit around other employment.
About the Role:
• Provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities in our nursery and outdoor spaces
• Help individuals develop new skills, build confidence, and enjoy meaningful activities
• Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive environment
Flexible Shifts:
Many of our relief staff work elsewhere and provide their availability on a monthly basis, so we can schedule shifts that suit your lifestyle or primary job.
Additional Information:
• Due to our rural location, your own transport is essential
• Free parking is available on site
• A warm, welcoming, and supportive working atmosphere
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
• A compassionate and patient approach
• Some experience working with adults with learning disabilities (preferred, but not essential)
• Willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Flexibility and a proactive attitude
