What we are offering the successful Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
£35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary + Overtime
Monday To Friday Hours + Saturday (optional)
Family Run Independent Service Centre Environment.
Both Technician Testers / Technicians Without MOT / MOT Only Testers welcomed.
Key Duties of a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester working with us are :
Conducting vehicle servicing and repairs.
Diagnosing and resolving vehicle faults.
Liaising with customers with information about their vehicle
Performing MOT Testing for Class 4 & 7 vehicles.
Completing work in a timely manner, adhering to both company and manufacturer standards.
Upholding the company’s reputation for professionalism and quality service.
Key Duties of a MOT Tester working with us are :
Carrying out MOT tests to DVSA standard
Communication with clients before/after MOT
Liaising with workshop regarding repairs
Carrying out minor MOT repairs for example : bulbs and blades etc
Keeping up to date with current DVSA test procedures
What we expect from the successful Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Hold a Class 4 & 7 MOT License.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Motivation and a desire to continually enhance your knowledge and skills.
All aspects of this role includes communication with both customers and suppliers.
Basic knowledge of computer usage is preferred but not essential as we can provide on site training.
