The main aim of the Analysis and Assurance Team Manager is to help manage the Management Information Team in Finance Analysis and Assurance and provide MI analysis, reporting and assurance functions. You will also act as an Agency MI SME and provide support for the Head of Unit and MI team lead.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Provide a comprehensive management information assurance support and advice service to business areas, customers and stakeholders.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for Agency MI including assurance, research on external factors influencing future year forecasting and applying the relevant standards, legislation and best practice.
- Assist the Finance Analysis and Assurance Management Information Team - provide direction, task management, support and coaching of the team.
- Assist in the delivery and assurance of standard management information reports to support senior management.
- Contribute to development, measure and report Agency performance measures – including volume measures, Agency performance measures providing a QA and tier 2 assurance role.
- Help lead and manage the continuous improvement of team processes to ensure the delivery of maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Managers must ensure individuals and team colleagues adhere to Data Protection, Security, Health & Safety policies and understand relevant employment law.
