Join DVSA’s Assurance Team and help shape how we deliver change. You’ll provide independent assurance across a portfolio of projects, using insights from governance, risk, and control to support informed decision-making.

Working with senior leaders, you’ll promote a transparent assurance culture and deliver data-driven insights to guide strategic choices. You’ll support project teams with expert advice, lead assurance reviews, and help improve governance and risk practices.

You’ll also manage DVSA’s Programme and Project Management Framework (PPMF), aligning with government standards. This is a key role driving continuous improvement across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Act as a key point of contact and provide for best practice advice for programmes, associated projects and related business areas
  • Advise Senior Responsible Owners (SROs), programme and project teams with quality assurance and quality control activities within project lifecycles using insight from governance risk, and controls
  • Provide a quality assurance service on key project management products such as Business Cases to ensure compliance with portfolio management framework requirements and support successful change delivery
  • Check compliance with risk management processes and risk escalation in line with the required standards
