Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure and excel in a busy environment. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
Intaking of Bulk Trailers:
Weighing in and out of bulk trailers.
Checking all paperwork for accuracy.
Sampling incoming products from lorries.
Conducting relevant tests and checks on incoming products.
Completing necessary paperwork to allow lorries to tip.
Plant Checks:
Conducting hourly checks of cleaned products.
Recording all findings on QC reports.
Ensuring checks meet current legal standards.
Reporting any issues to the QC Team Lead.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent hygiene and housekeeping practices to prevent cross-contamination.
- Ability to work well with drivers, plant machinists, and packing teams.
- Keen eye for detail to ensure quality and legal standards are met.
- Flexibility to work initially 8-hour days, transitioning to 12-hour shifts.
- Physical capability to perform plant checks involving 2kg samples of seed.
Training: Full training will be provided within the QC department.
Work commencing mid July up until end of October. Candidates must be fully avaliable during this period.

0800 - 1630
