Summary
The Test Engineer plays a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, andperformance of the Trusts digital applications and systems, focusing onareas such as Electronic Patient Records (EPR), Clinical Applications,Interoperability, Data Systems, Infrastructure, and Digital Assurance. The Test Engineer will work closely with developers, business analysts, andother cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the SoftwareDevelopment Lifecycle (SDLC), identify and prioritize defects, andcontribute to continuous improvement initiatives.The role requires both functional and non-functional testing expertise, theability to mentor junior testers, and effective collaboration with stakeholdersto drive quality assurance processes.This position also includes responsibilities for managing relationships withvendors, coordinating Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and UserAcceptance Testing (UAT), and overseeing the use of large data setsacross relational databases.
