Summary
Office Manager
Contract: 1 year in the first instance37 hours a week (8am – 4.30pm Monday – Thursday, 8am – 4pm Friday, with a daily 1 hour unpaid lunch42 weeks a year (Term Time + INSET + 3 Weeks)
Salary range: Leicestershire County Council Grade 8 Point 15-18

Would you like to work within a supportive team with the opportunity to collaborate with other Office Professionals in the Trust?An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and organised individual to join Glenfield Primary School as the Office Manager.As Office Manager you can expect to work closely with the Headteacher and SLT to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operation of the school office. It is a perfect opportunity for someone experienced looking for a new opportunity or someone who is looking to take the next step in their career.The successful candidate will run the office on a daily basis, supported by the Office Administrators. There will be the opportunity to network with and gain a wealth of knowledge and support from the other Office Professionals within the Trust.The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience of working in a busy school office.
• Have experience of using SIMS and Microsoft Office,
• Be a highly organised individual with the ability to work to deadlines
• Be able to prioritise own workload and multi-task varying demands
• Be approachable and a team player
• Have a strong focus on providing excellent customer service

Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong financial skills.
• Knowledge of HR practices and legislation.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A passion for education and our school's mission.
