Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to contribute to the improvement of educational outcomes for children and young people in North Lanarkshire.
As Senior Education & Improvement Manager, you will be an integral part of the Education and Families Directorate and will contribute to the achievement of an ambitious programme of work, ‘We Aspire’, the Plan for North Lanarkshire Council.
Reporting to a Chief Officer of Education & Families, you will be responsible for quality improvement and development of strategic approaches to raise attainment and secure continuous improvement.
As well as substantial experience in education, you should also have a proven track record of leading successful and sustained improvement within an educational setting. The ideal candidate should also have significant experience within a leadership role(s) and be able to demonstrate their ability of influencing others to embrace change and achieve positive outcomes.
The successful candidate must also hold or be eligible for GTC Registration.
