Summary
Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for Steel Coil Packers on behalf of their client in Llanwern, Newport for ongoing / temporary to permanent positions.
Duties include working in a warehouse environment using banding machinery and other packing equipment to pack steel coils prior to distribution.
You must have a good level of physical fitness and a keen eye for detail to carry out this role, and a strong attitude towards health and safety is essential.
All training will be provided to carry out this role, workwear and PPE is provided.
A CCNSG site safety passport is required which would be self funded, you will also be required to attend and pass a pre-employment medical and substance abuse test.
All applicants must have:
* Forklift Truck and overhead crane experience in an industrial environment is desirable, but not essential.
* A valid UK drivers licence is also desirable but not essential.
Your working hours
* 4 on, 4 off, 2 days and 2 nights. Paying £14.25per hour. Premium rates payable at weekends.
