Summary
Manpower are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to work for a timber merchant based in Chippenham. You will be responsible for safely transporting loads, with an average of 14 drops per day locally and 6 drops per day nationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timber products to various locations, managing 1 to 15 drops per day
- Slide wood panels off the vehicle to customer teams when required
- Plan your start time each morning based on emailed workload received the previous evening
- Maintain safety standards using provided PPE (safety boots and hi-vis vest)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience driving Class 2 HGV
- Must be over 25 years old
- No more than 6 penalty points on your license
- Willingness to work from Chippenham initially, then Swindon after 3 months
