Summary
Due to a strong order book and winning new work, we are looking for a laser/Punch Press Operator to join our team.
Key responsibilities and requirements:
Setting and operating our fibre lasers and/or one of four Amada Turret Punches. Setting punch tools as required. maintain programs within the machine, eliminating programming errors. Forward plan and load plan for daily production requirements. Communicate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing process.
Operate relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner. maintain high standards and quality of work. Inspect parts for defects as part of the in-process inspection procedure. Record all results, adjust program or notify appropriate person of deviation when needed. Upkeep of a clean and organised working area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the use of Amada Lasers and CNC Turret Punches.
