Job Title: Service Engineer (Fire & Security)
Summary: An exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Engineer (Fire & Security) to join a busy team dealing with installation, maintenance and repairs to electronic security and fire alarm systems.
Location: Hull & West Midlands
Salary: Annual starting salary c. £34,000- £38,000 (OTE £40,000 - £50,000). Remuneration will be discussed at interview stage and will be dependent upon relevant industry experience.

Company Profile: We are a leading Electronic Security Systems Company specialising in the design, installation, repair and maintenance of CCTV, Door Entry/Access Control, Warden Call and Concierge Systems and Fire/Intruder Alarms on behalf of clients throughout the UK.
Job Profile: The successful engineer will be multi-skilled with strong experience within the fire and electronic security systems industry. You must posses sound knowledge of current standards and legislation and able to demonstrate recent relevant experience. You will be responsible for servicing, maintenance, installations, fault finding, rectification and problem solving, commissioning, and documenting for a wide range of electronic security and fire alarm systems including emergency lighting.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years previous experience within the Electronic Security and Fire Alarm Industry. FIA or BS5839 training would be a distinct advantage. The ability to cover a 24-hour call-out on a rota basis is essential to be considered for this position.
You will be required to service the company’s product portfolio for existing and new business and provide support to clients as and when required.
Candidate Profile: You must be a solid all-round engineer possessing a professional and positive attitude to work. You should have excellent customer relationship management with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be confident and highly motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
You must be quality focussed with a keen attention to detail and be willing to work independently or as part of a dedicated engineering team have a flexible approach to work. You will need a full UK driving licence.
On commencement of employment, you will be required to provide evidence of all skills and competences including qualifications and will be required to complete Security Screening in line with BS7858 and undertake an enhanced DBS check.
