We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our Indian and Nepalese cuisine specialty restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role with supervisory and team management experience, preferably in Indian, Nepalese, or South Asian dining establishments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth functioning
Supervise, train, and manage waiting staff and front-of-house team
Maintain high standards of customer service and table settings
Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality service
Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly
Manage reservations, special party bookings, and customer queries
Prepare staff duty rotas and manage staffing requirements effectively
Ensure food and service quality, hygiene, and health & safety compliance
Monitor inventory, manage purchasing, and negotiate with suppliers
Price dishes appropriately in coordination with the kitchen and management
Prepare operational and financial reports for senior management
Ensure the restaurant complies with all legal and licensing requirements
Requirements:
Previous experience in restaurant management, ideally in Indian/Nepalese cuisine
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to handle customer service issues professionally and efficiently
Good knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards, and relevant legal requirements
Proficiency in managing budgets, suppliers, and staffing schedules
