Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Leisure Multi Skilled Operative to join our dynamic leisure team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all our visitors while providing exceptional customer service. You will be involved in a variety of tasks that may include operating various leisure facilities, overseeing recreational activities, and assisting in event planning and execution. Your ability to adapt to different roles will be key, as you will work across multiple areas within our facility, such as fitness, swimming, and sports. This position requires a hands-on approach and a genuine passion for promoting health and well-being within the community. You will play an integral role in ensuring that every visitor has a positive and memorable experience, encouraging them to return time and again. As a Leisure Multi Skilled Operative, you will also contribute to the team by sharing your ideas for improving service delivery and facility operations. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic, reliable, and possesses excellent communication skills. A commitment to health and safety standards is essential, and previous experience in a leisure environment will be highly regarded, although training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Ensure the safety and cleanliness of all leisure areas and facilities.
Assist visitors with inquiries and provide information about leisure activities.
Set up and dismantle equipment for various recreational events and activities.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols within the leisure environment.
Assist in the delivery of recreational programs and activities for different age groups.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Promote and encourage participation in health and fitness programs offered by the facility.
Requirements
Previous experience in a leisure or customer service environment is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Basic first aid certification is preferred.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to leisure facilities.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £23.57
