Public Health - Championing Community Well-being

Be part of shaping an approach that tackles the complexities of public health challenges head-on! We have an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of community well-being within our Health Improvement team.

We’re looking for a Public Health Practitioner to support our Public Health function across health improvement. The role will support projects and programmes of work across a range of agendas including oral health healthy ageing, whole system approach to healthy weight, physical activity, smoking cessation. The initial focus of the roles will be to support the oral health improvement programmes, NHS Health Checks and smoking cessation and tobacco control for each Public Health Practitioner role, with wider ranging project support across health improvement to be included

This is an opportunity to work creatively with a passionate and innovative team, working closely with Public Health Specialists and Public Health Principal, to support established projects, but also create new opportunities. It will involve working closely with internal and external stakeholders, as well as working closely with residents in any co-design of projects.

As a Public Health Practitioner, you'll be the hands-on practitioner, utilising your project management skills and engaging with communities to drive real results.
