The Role: Were seeking an experienced Senior Receptionist with System-One expertise to be the welcoming face of our practice. You'll lead our front desk operations, ensuring smooth patient interactions and efficient administrative support. Key Responsibilities: Patient Services: Manage appointments, registrations, and enquiries via phone, in-person, and online using System-One. Administration: Process prescriptions, referrals, and patient records accurately, maintaining strict GDPR compliance. Team Coordination: Work closely with the Practice Manager, GPs, nurses, and admin staff to ensure seamless daily operations. Problem-Solving: Handle patient queries with empathy and resolve issues promptly. Leadership: Support and guide junior reception staff when needed. Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a GP receptionist, with expertise in System-One (non-negotiable). Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication friendly, professional, and calm under pressure. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of NHS processes and GP practice workflows (desirable).
