Summary

The care coordinator / reception manager is to oversee the day to day operations of the reception team, support front line care of patients and support the management plans, projects and operations within the practice. The job will involve coordinating the provision of reception staff to ensure sufficient cover is provided whilst working with the supervisors to ensure the reception team have the required support to deliver patient care. The manager with be responsible for building and maintenance checks, completing appraisals, running reports and act as a focal point for communication, advising reception and administrative staff on methods of communication and best practice. The successful candidate will support the management team by attending meetings and recording minutes and agendas as required and be able to support reception staff and patient care views at mdt meetings. Organising day to day activities, adapting quickly to change and working under pressure whilst working autonomously and as part of a team are essential for the successful applicant.
