Who We Are:
Gear4music, a leading retailer of musical instruments and equipment, is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team in Clifton Moor, York. As music enthusiasts, we're dedicated to providing an exceptional online shopping experience.
What You'll Do:
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a crucial role in our busy distribution centre, contributing to a great customer experience. Your responsibilities will include goods in, warehouse tasks, and dispatch duties.
Who You Are:
We're looking for motivated individuals to join our warehouse team. While previous experience in a warehouse or operating machinery is a bonus, it’s not required – we’ll provide full training for the right candidates.
We're simply looking for people who:
Are comfortable using technology like tablets or iPads
Can work well as part of a team
Communicate clearly and respectfully
Are reliable, punctual, and ready to work
You'll be working in a supportive environment where we value teamwork, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. If you're eager to learn and looking for a hands-on role, we’d love to hear from you.
Useful information
Guaranteed 40-hour working week, including evenings and weekends on a rotating shift basis.
This role will require the flexibility to work evenings and weekends, 40 hours per week for 5 out of the 7 days. The shifts rotate on a weekly basis so please ensure you’re able to commit to working both shift patterns.
Early Shift: 06:00 – 14:30 / 08:00-16:30. 4 days between Monday and Friday plus Saturday 08:30 – 17:00
Late Shift: 14:30 – 23:00. 4 days between Monday and Friday plus Sunday 08:30 – 17:00
