We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team for two days a week initially. We are a term time setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in the development and well-being of children in our care, ensuring they receive the best possible start in life.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote learning through play.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's development.
Manage daily activities, ensuring that all children are supervised and supported.
Assess children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development.
Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the quality of care provided.
Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills within the nursery setting.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare, Level 3 or above preferred.
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
A drive for continuous professional development and improvement in early years practice.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
Flexibility
Paediatric First Aid certification desirable

We are initially looking for someone to work Tuesdays and Fridays from September 2025. Must be flexible to cover staff absences and hours may increase.
