Summary
The Best Connection are currently looking for Class 2 Drivers for logistics company based in Bedford. Drivers will be responsible for delivering goods across the UK.
No experience required – newly passed drivers are welcome to apply!
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 07:00 start
Rates of pay:
Basic pay rate £15.00
Overtime rate £22.50 after 8 hours
HGV Class 2 Driver Duties:
General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from the customer’s premises or other locations
Delivering products on behalf of the customer
Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided if required)
Assisting with loading and unloading if required
Good communication and customer service
Requirements of the HGV Class 2 Driver
A full UK Class licence
New passed drivers accepted
No more than 6 points on your licence
No previous disqualifications (DD,TT,DR,CD,IN)
Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
