We are looking for an experienced clinical nurse to provide health education, immunization advise and administer vaccinations for our immunisation programme for women during pregnancy at the University Hospital Derby and Burton Foundation Trust (UHDB) and contribute to the delivery of a high-quality public health programme.

It will involve working with the Screening Midwife leads to undertake assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care, with reference to health education during pregnancy, immunisations and administration of vaccinations.

This role will be part of the antenatal and newborn screening team and involves working across all the maternity services within the Trust.

The post holder must be confident to be able to learn to administer IM injections, recognize anaphylaxis and administer treatment, which is a key element of the role and to deliver high standards of care in partnership with clients, patients and families in a safe and professional environment.
