Job Title: Building Services EngineerLocation: Heathrow Airport
We are currently seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer to manage the maintenance of plant rooms and HVAC systems across a prestigious corporate building at Heathrow Airport.
Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain and manage plant rooms and HVAC systems to the highest standards.
-Ensure all work-related planned maintenance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
-Identify and report any defects, keeping the client informed of site activities.
-Troubleshoot and understand building management systems (BMS) along with Fan Coil Units (FCUs), Air Handling Units (AHUs), Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems, and Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) systems.
-Mechanical plumbing experience would be a plus.
-Participate in the on-call rota and attend to emergencies when needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
-Full current driving license.
-In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and Permits to Work.
-Ability to perform manual tasks including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to operate a mobile device effectively.
-Highly self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
-C&G Level 3 Heating & Ventilation
-Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
-FGAS certification.
Experience:
-Experience in a maintenance/facilities management environment is preferred.
