SEN Teaching Assistant
* Location: Nuneaton, CV10
* Weekly Pay: £455 - £480
* Start Date: September (Trial Days Happening Now!)
* Hours: Full Time - 8:30am to 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
* Contract: Long Term with potential to become Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil at a modern, two-form entry primary school in Nuneaton (CV10). Trial days are available now - this is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role ahead of the new academic year.
* Provide 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil with ADHD and ASD
* Support the pupil through structured routines and targeted interventions
* Assist with learning breaks and maintaining focus throughout the day
* Work closely with teaching staff to implement EHCP strategies
* A Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
* Experience working 1:1 with pupils with SEN, particularly ADHD and ASD
* Confidence managing behaviour in a calm, consistent way
* Familiarity with EHCPs and the primary curriculum
* A proactive, team-oriented approach
* Modern, well-equipped two-form entry school
* Offers Forest School provision and excellent outdoor learning space
* Supportive and approachable leadership team
* Part of a successful Multi-Academy Trust with ongoing CPD
* On-site parking available
