Brief description:
Deliver engaging primary curriculum to students with SEMH needs aged 5-19 within a supportive, specialist setting.

About the school:
A special school in Wandsworth supporting boys aged 5 to 19 with social, emotional and mental health needs. All pupils have an EHCP and benefit from personalised, therapeutic support to enable learning and development. The school is committed to fostering resilience, independence, and respect in all learners, with a curriculum tailored to individual needs.

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN primary teacher to join a dedicated team supporting KS1 and KS2 pupils with complex SEMH needs. You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning goals and promote emotional well-being.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Create a nurturing, safe and structured learning environment
- Plan and deliver engaging and accessible lessons across the primary curriculum
- Support students with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
- Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team including therapists and support staff
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Proven experience teaching pupils with SEMH or additional needs
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A resilient, compassionate and flexible approach
