The Governors and Head Teacher wish to appoint an enthusiastic Assistant Early Years Practitioner. The post holder will work across the age phases, demonstrating a sound understanding of EYFS practice.
The post holder will understand and demonstrate their responsibility to safeguarding children.
A minimum relevant (DfE validated) Early Years Level 2 is required, together with relevant experience of working with young children (Birth to 5). Knowledge of the Revised EYFS and KCSIE is essential.

The successful applicant will:
Demonstrate a sound understanding of EYFS practice and know how to use this to motivate and enthuse learners.

Understand how the role contributes to developing strong positive working relationships with the key worker and other professionals.
Understand the importance of supporting children and developing strong positive relationships with parents/carers.
Understand the importance of promoting a high sense of wellbeing for all.

Be able to work enthusiastically as part of a team to contribute to the overall aims of the nursery.
