Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Hugo Meynell Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Nursery Nurse to lead and inspire within our nurturing and dynamic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting.
As a Senior Nursery Nurse, you will:
• Be responsible for the day to day management of the nursery provision
• Lead and support a team of nursery staff to deliver outstanding early years education.
• Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
• Plan and prepare the curriculum content to be delivered including monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting on children’s progress and attainment.
• Organise and manage the learning environment and resources.
• Work closely with the EYFS Lead and Senior Management Team to plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality learning experiences.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers to support holistic development.
• Lead on safeguarding practices and ensure high standards of care and early years education are consistently maintained.
We are looking for someone with:
• A Level 3 (or above) qualification
• Experience in a school, nursery or early years setting, with some leadership responsibilities.
• A deep understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and team leadership skill, who believes that learning should be creative and fun.
• An approachable, enthusiastic and proactive approach, who wants to be part of a friendly and motivated team.
