We are excited to invite applications for a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our dedicated team at King’s Academy Bay House, in Gosport, a vibrant coastal town with a strong community spirit and easy access to Portsmouth and the South Downs.

This role involves working closely with female students, including supervision in gender-specific settings such as changing rooms and providing tailored PE instruction. In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, this post is exempt under Schedule 9, Part 1, and so we may only accept applications from female candidates.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher to begin their career in a supportive, high-performing school—though applications from experienced colleagues are also warmly welcomed.

We are looking for someone who can inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, delivering engaging lessons and contributing fully to our vibrant extra-curricular offer. The ideal candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for PE and a desire to help young people build confidence, develop skills and enjoy success in sport. We are particularly excited to hear from applicants who are keen to champion and expand girls’ participation in both team and individual sports.
