Do you want to be a part of one of the UK's largest house builders? Are you passionate about providing high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced commercial environment? Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Administrator to join their Commercial team in Leeds.
The Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Administrator:
- Issue Health and Safety Contractor Competency Questionnaires for new contractors.
- Manage sub-contractor insurance and SSIP updates via the COINS system.
- Process weekly and monthly sub-contractor applications for payment with support from Quantity Surveyors.
- Liaise with the Accounts department to resolve payment and invoice queries.
- Issue contra-charges as required, with assistance from Quantity Surveyors.
- Process and issue sub-contract orders for approval.
- Manage the Commercial team's email inbox and handle telephone and email enquiries.
- Input Customer Extras and Additions weekly into the Sales Monitor system, including document uploads.
- Perform general office duties, including accurate collation, storage of information, and other administrative tasks.
The Key Requirements of the Commercial Administrator:
- Previous experience in a busy, fast-paced administrative role.
- Experience in the construction industry with a main contractor or sub-contractor (desirable).
- GCSE Maths and English - Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); COINS experience is preferred.
