Summary
Main duties of the job: Phlebotomy Carry out ECGs as requested. Depending on Experience also the following: Dressings and leg ulcer management, including dopplers and stocking measurement . Undertake suture and staple removals. Injections such as B12, Pnuemonia, Shingles, Flu Support the practice with health promotion programmes. Carry out baseline observations such as pulse oximetry, blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, height, weight and BMI, recording findings accurately. Carry out annual diabetic checks in line with guidance. Facilitate routine and 24-hour BP monitoring, advising patients accordingly. Assist in the coil clinics Ensure all clinical rooms are adequately stocked and prepared for each session.
