Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our office team and contribute to the smooth and effective running of our school. Key Responsibilities: • Provide administrative support to school leadership, staff, and departments
• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and external stakeholders
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and efficiently
• Maintain accurate student and staff records using SiMs
• Assist in the preparation of reports, newsletters, and school communications
• Support the coordination of school events, meetings, and appointments
• Ensure compliance with school policies and data protection procedures
• Perform general clerical duties including filing, photocopyingWe are seeking an individual who: • Previous experience in an administrative or school office role is desirable
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with school MIS (e.g., SIMS, Arbor) is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• A friendly, approachable, and professional manner
• Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding within a school settingWhat we offer: • Flexible hours, term time plus teacher training days with an early finish on Friday

Salary: Grade 7, point 11-14 depending on experience. Actual salary in the region of £23,393 - £24,540 (£25,998 - £27,273 full time equivalent per annum) subject to 25/26 pay awardStart date on or before 20th August 2025
