The HICA Group is looking for a dedicated and proactive Handy Person to join our team at Cranwell Court, a modern and welcoming care service based in Grimsby. This is your chance to be part of a not-for-profit organisation that truly values its people and the difference they make every day.

As our Handy Person, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include carrying out general repairs and maintenance of fixtures and fittings, redecorating internal and external areas of the home, deep cleaning of kitchens, kitchen equipment, and serveries, managing drainage systems, and ensuring exterior upkeep. You’ll also complete weekly checks including temperatures, window restrictors, profiling beds, slide sheets and moving & handling equipment, fire safety and call bell systems, legionella checks, and painting and decorating.

Pay & Hours:

Rate of Pay: £12.22 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Rota-based, covering 7 days per week
