Key Duties and Tasks for HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter:
• As an HGV Technician, you'll inspect, service, and repair trailers to the highest safety and compliance standards
• Diagnose faults using EBS systems like WABCO, HALDEX, and KNORR BREMSE
• Accurately complete all service and compliance documentation
• Keep your skills sharp through continuous training - vital for every HGV Mechanic
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment while following all Health & Safety procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service with a professional approach
Essential Experience for HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter:
• We want motivated HGV Technicians, HGV Fitters, or HGV Mechanics who take pride in their work and thrive in a hands-on environment.
• Experience working on semi-trailers or HGVs
• Industry-recognised qualifications - City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent
Desirable expereicne and Licence for HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter:
• HGV Class 1 licence
• IRTEC certification
• EBS diagnostics experience (WABCO, Haldex, Knorr-Bremse)
• Welding certification
• Experience with tail lifts and double-deck trailers
