We are looking for somebody who will fit into a high performing front line service. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to maintain excellent service to our customers and colleagues. The role can be challenging, working across the borough and delivering services in empty property clearance and cleaning and helping to decant customers moving them from A-B. Experience of a similar role would be beneficial, full training is also provided to reach the required standards.



As an Estate Services Operative you will:



Use practical work techniques to ensure that a high standard of service is maintained in an assigned area to support the delivery of efficient internal services.
Undertake routine training and monitoring to ensure continuous improvement and personal development is completed.
Internal / external property & garden/garage clearances and cleansing.
Carrying out home relocation as part of a removals team
Manual handling and working at height
Use of various chemicals and mandatory PPE
Build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues & customers
Work in a variety of teams under the direction of Operational Mentors as instructed by Planners & Line Managers


The successful candidate will have some experience in:



Basic knowledge of tools and materials associated with Cleaning and removals
The ability to solve problems.
Ability to work without supervision to tight deadlines
Awareness of risks associated to work tasks.
Excellent customer service skills
Using mobile phone and basic IT systems
Driving license would be desirable
