Summary
Role: Van Driver
Location: Dartford
Hours: 6am start - company operational 7 days per week - working 5 out of 7 days
Salary: £13 per hour - temp salary. £15 per hour - perm salary.
Extrastaff Ltd are currently recruiting a temp to perm Van Driver to work for our furniture rental service client based in Dartford.
Benefits for Van Driver:
- Weekly pay
- Paid PAYE - no umbrella companies
- Use of company APP
- Temp to perm
- Minimum 8 hours pay per shift
- Salary increase once you go perm with the client
Duties for Van Driver:
- Multi-drop deliveries of furniture to various locations
- Use of mobile phone APP to complete and record deliveries
- Carrying out vehicle walk around check & securing load
- Manual handling - off loading vehicle
- All drivers must complete 2 hour driving assessment
Requirements for Van Driver:
- Full UK driving licence (B category) - max 3 points on licence (cannot accept any DR, DG, or DD offences)
- DIGI tacho card
- CPC card (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Good customer service skills
- 6 months delivery driving experience
