Summary
Role: Van Driver
Location: Charlton
Hours: 6am to 4pm - less 1 hour break (max 45-hour week) - Monday to Friday - NO WEEKENDS
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Extrastaff Ltd are currently recruiting a temp to perm Van Driver to work for our client based in Charlton delivering catering equipment in Kent & London.
Benefits for Van Driver:
- Weekly pay
- No weekend work - Monday to Friday only
- Paid PAYE - no umbrella companies
- Use of company APP
- Temp to perm
- Minimum 8 hours pay per shift
Duties for Van Driver:
- Multi-drop deliveries of catering equipment to restaurants, hotels, cafes, schools, government buildings, prisons, etc. - up to 20 drops per day
- Completing paperwork
- Carrying out vehicle walk around check & securing load
- Use of sack barrow - to off load vehicle
- Manual handling
Requirements for Van Driver:
- Full UK driving licence (B category) - max 3 points on licence (cannot accept any DR, DG, or DD offences)
- DIGI tacho card
- CPC card (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Good customer service skills
- 6 months delivery driving experience
- No unspent criminal convictions
