The ideal candidate will be mainly responsible for ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This role requires a strong focus on quality control and efficiency, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications.
Perform quality control checks to ensure that all items meet company standards before shipping.
Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling of materials.
Handle materials efficiently, maintaining an organised workspace at all times.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch of orders.
Conduct heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve packing processes.
Skills
Experience in picking packing within a warehouse setting is essential.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail for effective quality control measures.
Ability to manage stock efficiently and maintain accurate records.
Proficient in materials handling techniques to ensure safety and efficiency.
Capability for heavy lifting, with physical stamina to perform tasks throughout the shift.
An interest in Fishing would be an advantage
