Summary
To assist in the safe and effective operation of 11sqn landing craft and other small boats.
To assist in the maintenance of landing craft and small boats at Zeta Berth.
To support the Bosun in Command (BIC) with the safety of all passengers and crew aboard the craft while afloat.
This role requires a degree of physical ability, as it involves loading and unloading of goods and other manual handling tasks.
Some of the work undertaken will be inside the engine room of the craft with restricted access and or confined spaces.

Other Responsibilities
To secure loads onboard craft
To support the maintenance of the jetty and pontoons at Zeta Berth
To support the team with the road movement of craft spares.
Depending upon experience and qualifications, travel including overnight stays will be required in order to complete training vital to fulfil the role.
