Summary
Cars Under 3K LTD is seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to manage and oversee the acquisition of vehicles for resale. The ideal candidate will identify sourcing opportunities, negotiate purchases, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure a consistent flow of quality inventory in line with business needs.
Main duties include:
• Source used vehicles through auctions, dealerships, and other suppliers based on company needs and customer demand.
• Contact and negotiate with suppliers to get the best prices and terms.
• Check and inspect vehicles before purchase to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders and other related paperwork.
• Track all purchases and deliveries to make sure vehicles arrive on time.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trusted vehicle suppliers and auction platforms.
Skills and Education:
• Proven experience in procurement or sales, preferably in the automotive or motor trade industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, record-keeping).
