Owen Payne Recruitment have immediate start positions available for experienced Forklift Drivers to join a bustling steel manufacturer in the Smethwick (B66) and Oldbury (B69) area.

This position is 12 week temporary-to-permanent role for the right candidate

Duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT
• Loading Vehicles
• Unloading Vehicles
• Banding parts together
• Working with Steel Products
• Completing paperwork
• Any additional duties as and when required

Candidate Requirements:

• Hold an in date accredited Counterbalance licence
• Previously worked with Steel
• Previously worked within a Manufacturing environment
• Overhead Crane and Bendi licence also preferred but not essential
• Have at least 12 months of experience working on the FLT

Hours of work available (Set Shifts, no rotation):

• Smethwick – 14:00 till 22:30 (Mon to Thur) & 14:00 till 19:30 (Fri)
• Oldbury – 14:00 till 23:00 (Mon to Thur) & 14:00 till 17:30 (Fri)

Pay Rates:

• £14.57 per hour
