Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Production Coordinator.
We are looking for an organised and proactive Production Coordinator to a well established manufacturing company based in East Kilbride. This is a key role that requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing and coordinating production workflows.
The ideal candidate will act as the central point of communication, ensuring smooth operations and coordination across all manufacturing departments to maintain KPI’s of throughput, delivery and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Coordination:
Distribute work orders to relevant departments to maximise production targets.
Monitor and prioritise urgent works orders.
Identify opportunities for consolidating work orders to improve efficiency.
Coordinate and address shop floor-level issues relating to works orders i.e. quarantine, rework, scrap.
Process Optimisation:
Release print run 2–4 weeks in advance of the production start date.
Review ongoing production situations and make necessary adjustments.
Consolidate orders to streamline operations.
Communication & Support:
Serve as the central point of communications for all information related to works order.
Manage queries and resolve any production-related issues.
Prioritise items requiring inspection in line with requirements.
Skills and Qualities Required:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills – approachable and professional
Proactive approach with the ability to foresee and address potential issues
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong problem-solving capabilities
Use of Excel for reporting
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Package:
Overtime
Full time, Permanent
Four-day working week: Monday to Thursday, 37.5 hours Dayshift
262.5 hours paid annual leave
Company performance bonus scheme (paid twice per year based on company results)
