Summary
The post holder will provide high quality care to patients in urology. The post holder must be medically qualified and maintain GMC registration. To develop and maintain the competencies required to carry out the duties required of the post. To ensure prompt attendance at agreed direct clinical care activities. To ensure patients are involved in decisions about their care and to respond to their views. To take an active role in managing patient pathways in their respective area. To undertake administrative duties associated with their patients in line with departmental guidelines. To support with the training of junior specialist trainees and other junior doctors in the Urology department. To oversee the appropriate booking of prostate cancer theatre lists. To demonstrate excellent leadership skills within the wider urology team. To work collaboratively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and Imperial College as required. Adhere to Trust / departmental guidelines on leave including reporting absence.
