Summary
Skills & Experience To be considered for this role you MUST have significant experience of working with people with complex and significant mental health difficulties. Experience of working with psychosis would be highly preferable. You must also have an UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle that you can use for work purposes. You must have a valid right to work in the UK as this position will not be considered for sponsorship. These are the essential criteria and anyone who does not have these will not be shortlisted. Previous candidates need not apply. Its important you have strong communication skills, and you can work on your own initiative as well as collaboratively with colleagues. In addition to delivering practical interventions some knowledge and understanding of basic cognitive behavioural approaches would be beneficial, and the willingness and enthusiasm to learn new skills is vital. An ability to manage difficult or stressful situations is needed, but you will be supported throughout your time with the team, and we will invest time and energy in developing your support worker skills.
