Summary
This role is advertised by Smart Solutions on behalf of our client, who specialises in the waste sector, who is looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers the Manchester area.
The HGV Class 2 Driver primary role is to collect trade waste from customers by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in the area.
Multiple Shift patterns available of 04:00am, 06:00am and 14:00pm starts, approx. 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Higher rate after 40hrs per week.
Vacancies:
FEL driver (4am start): £14.47p/h
Trade waste driver (AM shift): £14.47p/h
Trade waste driver (PM shift): £15.92p/h
HGV Class 2 Driver Requirements include, but not limited to the following:
HGV Class 2 licence, Class CE licence beneficial.
Paperwork is correctly completed for loads collected and delivered.
Report any delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions.
Report access problems and record contaminated loads.
Complete an accurate daily time sheet for all jobs completed.
Work alone or assist on board crew with loading of waste
