Incredible Kids are seeking a dynamic, committed, energised Room Leader.
Job Specifics:
To Work Full Time, Monday – Friday (40 Hours)
Shifts 07.30-17:00
Location Derby City

Responsibilities:
To provide a safe, happy, secure environment which is conducive to providing a high quality of care and education for children. To fulfil legal and statutory requirements. To supervise staff on a day-to-day basis. To contribute to and implement nursery policies.
Your responsibilities as Room Leader will include:
« Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
« Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times
« To be responsible for drawing up, monitoring and supervising weekly planning in the Room, and the overall nursery curriculum, in-line with the latest EYFS regulations
« To be responsible for monitoring the quality of teaching, share ideas and to identify in-service training needs
« To demonstrate effective time and resource management to meet the planned needs of children and families and any anticipated demands that might be reasonably foreseen.
« To liaise with management, social services, and other professionals as necessary
« To monitor the effectiveness of the Nursery curriculum and maintain continuity within the Keyworker system throughout the room.
Qualifications/Experience:
« GCSE / O’Level Mathematics and English required (Grade C or above).
« Level 3 Childcare (or higher) Qualification is essential.
« In-Depth knowledge of the current EYFS regulations
« Strong inter-personal skills
« Full awareness of the Children’s Act 1989
« Paediatric First Aid Certificate
« Food Hygiene Certificate
« DBS Checked
