Summary
Mechanical Improver / Plumber - Commercial Building – Tower Hill - Permanent - £34,000 to £36,000
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in London. CBW are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Improver / Plumber to be based at a large commercial estate located near Tower Hil. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified plumber with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance.
He or she will be required to carry out plumbing/basic water treatment planned and reactive maintenance across this large static site. Working with the maintenance team on site. He or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary, further training, overtime, and the chance to work at this very unique and interesting site.
No knowledge of mechanical systems is required for this position, only plumbing/water treatment knowledge, as my client is looking for someone who they can train to be a fully fledged mechanical engineer.
Package & Hours of Work
- Up to £36,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 17:00 pm (40-hour week)
- Overtime available
- 25 days holiday + BH
- Company Pension
Duties and responsibilities
- Repairing Toilets and Sinks
- Unblocking Toilets
- Water Hygiene maintenance and inspections
- Pipework inspections and repairs
- Minor installation works
- Flexible in helping other trades on site
- Planned and reactive works
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- General building fabric
- Escort specialist subcontractors
Requirements
- Plumbing qualified level 2 minimum
- A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
- Installation experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Happy to cover a large site
- Honest, hard-working and reliable
