We are looking for a dedicated Leasehold Support Officer to become a key part of our Leasehold Services Team. This full-time role, working Monday to Friday, plays a vital part in delivering an efficient and customer-focused leasehold service.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Leasehold Support Officer, you will provide essential administrative and frontline support across the Leasehold Service. Your responsibilities will include:
Acting as the first point of contact for leaseholder enquiries, providing advice, information, and signposting as needed.
Managing service charge queries, dispute resolution, and liaising with internal teams to ensure timely responses.
Supporting the production and issue of annual service charges and related documentation.
Raising purchase orders and invoices, maintaining accurate ICT systems and records.
Assisting with leaseholder consultation processes under Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
Supporting debt recovery processes by monitoring and administering service charge arrears.
Handling legal documentation such as Right to Buy enquiries and service of legal notices within required timelines.
Working with internal teams including Surveyors and Repairs in the prevention, detection and remedying of building defects and associated matters.
Assisting the Leasehold Manager with investigations and preparing casework for legal proceedings where necessary.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Qualifications equal or comparable to at least 5 GCSE’s
Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with the public.
Confidence in using ICT systems and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A customer-first attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality, responsive services.
The ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
