Job Description
Registered Partially sighted
Needs experience in care.
To support the person to live independently in their home.
To be mindful of confidentiality of the person's circumstances and life.
To support the person with personal care, dressing, undressing, medication where needed.
To perform daily domestic duties to keep the persons home to the required standard. ( there is a paid domestic cleaner who goes twice monthly)
To accompany the person to engagements, interests etc. Should I be unable to transport a Taxi or public transport would be used.
Having some training of the Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding and Medication would be an advantage but not a necessity. I will advise, and organise mandatory training as it becomes available.
Driving is an advantage but not a necessity

Disposable gloves which are supplied must be worn for certain duties
The P.A. will be respectful to the disabled person, to be understanding of their disability and support accordingly.
To perform duties as requested.
To inform myself of any concerns.
Specific Requirements
This post is for a female P.A. who enjoys chatting and has a good sense of humour, is punctual, respectful and well presented.
The person will be ok with cats
Required Training
