Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a strong, enthusiastic and high quality practitioner to join our supportive and committed staff team on a part time basis. You will work in conjunction with an experienced member of staff, working Monday to Wednesday, sharing responsibility for the children in your class. You must be committed to high standards in all areas and have high expectations of all children in terms of progress, attainment, attitudes and behaviour. Athersley South Primary is part of the Every Child Matters Academy Trust and, as such, we work in close partnership with other schools within the trust. This provides a wealth of opportunities for CPD and support and opportunities for future career progression.
We are looking for an individual to join our team who:
• can demonstrate strong practice, with the ability to inspire and motivate children to achieve their full potential
• is passionate about learning and teaching and has a good understanding of the way children develop and learn
• is creative, forward thinking, innovative and prepared to take risks
• has the ability to forge excellent relationships with colleagues, parents and most importantly, our children
• will actively develop positive relationships with parents and carers
• has a strong commitment to inclusive practice
• has a sense of fun and a strong desire to achieve
