Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you a teacher who can inspire, excite and get stuck in? Do you believe learning should be challenging, creative and – most of all – fun? Do you love nothing more than a day that starts with a Lego STEM challenge, ends in the forest, and includes a cooking session and a good book somewhere in between?
If that sounds like your kind of teaching, we’d love to hear from you! The role is suitable for ECTs as well as more experienced teachers, what we want most is to find the person who will be right for joining our team. We’re looking for an excellent classroom teacher to join our ambitious, supportive team here at Clifton Upon Teme Primary – a small school with big ideas and even bigger energy. You’ll be teaching a mixed-age Key Stage 2 class and playing a key part in shaping the future of our growing school.
We’d love to find someone who:
• Is a skilled, passionate and inspirational classroom practitioner
• Brings energy, positivity and creativity to their teaching
• Has experience in Key Stage 2 and thrives on working flexibly as part of a close-knit team
• Has a clear understanding of adaptive teaching and strong behaviour management skills
• Will go above and beyond to help every child feel seen, safe and successful
• Can spark passions, capture imaginations and take children on a learning journey with them
It would be brilliant (but not essential!) if you could also bring:
• The ability to lead or support in computing, STEM or languages
• A willingness to get involved in extra-curricular sport or clubs – especially outdoors!
What the school offers its staff
In return, we can offer:
• Motivated, happy children who love learning and bring their full selves to school
• A fantastic and committed team who support and learn from each other every day
• A dedicated on-site forest school, a brand-new DT kitchen, a fully resourced library, nurture room, and specialist intervention spaces
• Protected PPA time – with the option to take it off-site
• A wellbeing day each year for all teaching staff, plus a package including 24/7 GP access, physio and counselling
• A leadership team that genuinely values staff voice, collaboration and professional growth
• Strong local cluster partnerships and an engaged parent community
Come and visit us! Our headteacher, Miss Dancer, would love to show you what makes Clifton such a special place to work – and to learn. Book a visit on one of our tour dates by contacting the school office on 01886 812258 or email us at office@clifton-upon-teme.worcs.sch.uk
